Sprout Open Call

Don’t we all just casually browse through life? Endlessly scanning through content, strolling around the streets with our eyes and thoughts open to stumble upon newness. Browsing to detangle from the familiar by moving our eyes from one sight to the next; simply browsing without intent. 

For our next issue of Sprout we want to add multiple perspectives to shine a light on the current theme, for this we are reaching out to the Subbacultcha community. 

Browse through your own works, is there one that fits with us? Do you have a written piece (poetry / story / opinion) or visual piece (illustration / graphic / painting) that connects in any way with the theme ‘Browse’ that deserves a spotlight and you want to share with us? Those who have their works selected will also receive a modest fee of 75 euros. The deadline for submitting is the 23rd of March.

Please keep in mind that the selected works will be published in a mono-color printed RISO zine. The next issue is going to be printed in the color ‘flamingo’.
