Loma Doom’s Playlist

While some of us were baking in the ‘Europe-heatwave-sun’, Loma Doom was stuck in a logistical nightmare. We asked Loma to curate a playlist for us and luckily she was able to free herself and deliver. The Beatles, Siouxsie and the Banshees, F Ingers & Sunn 0))). You’re in for a treat. “Although I love sweltering hot summers listening to tunes for boats such as The Style Council’s ‘Long Hot Summer’, I spent the last two days in trapped in a hot as hell void of delays and cancellations. So the languid state of idleness was replaced by a slowmotion nightmare, that wakes you up drenched in cold sweat. This playlist might be a little representative of that mood. It is also a tribute to the musically diverse and awesome line up we’ll witness next week at Dekmantel 2019, ranging from Pharaoh Sanders to Sun O))) and I feel enormously privileged to be part of it.”
