Helen – Covered in Shade

The former and sole Grouper member Liz Harris first released a couple of singles in 2013 as the new pop group, Helen, featuring Scott Simons and Eternal Tapestry’s Jed Bindeman. It was pretty quiet on the Helen front for a while, up until Helen announced the upcoming release of their debut this summer. We were happy to have Helen return on the scene, announcing their upcoming debut along with the release of the first single Motorcycle in July. ‘Covered in Shade’ was released synchronously a few days ago with The Original Faces (out on Kranky).  Seems like harmless fun with a morbid touch, that’s cool.
