Boris de Beijer

Boris de Beijer Boris de Beijer

We’re back this March with an exhibition by artist Boris de Beijer (1986). He shows his beautiful and colourful patterned objects in our basement gallery. He took the opportunity of this exhibition to create new pieces and take important new steps in his work.

De Beijer, who graduated as a jewellery designer, slowly developed a more autonomous visual language by creating works that are hard to categorize within both the ‘autonomous’ as well as the ‘applied’ disciplines. With his self-made materials he creates surreal shapes and designs. The exhibition is part of de Beijer’s discovery of the value and meaning of his newly created, surprisingly futuristic objects.

The exhibition opening is on March 7, from 17.30 till 21.00 pm. We have invited special guests to play some music, and an equally special guest to make some lovely stew. Beer will be lavishly provided by Warsteiner. The opening is RSVP only. Want to join? Please send us an e-mail.
