/kult Film: Videodrome

When Max Renn discovers Videodrome, a TV program that shows heavy tortures and even murder in a sexy way, he reacts with wild enthusiasm and wants to broadcast it on his television station. But what he doesn’t know yet, is that people get brain tumors by watching the program and start hallucinating. And then Max’s girlfriend wants to audition for Videodrome. Will he see her again? This David Cronenberg film blurs the distinction between fiction and reality in such a way that it’s no wonder it has become one of the most important cult movies of the 20th century.
