Antwon

Los Angeles has been good to us, accommodating and inspiring heaps of artists in its’ warm climate, one being the critically acclaimed hip-hop guru Antwon.  We last saw the man in April last year when he came to Amsterdam’s Q-Factory. His far-flung spectrum of contemporary hip-hop is impressive, with a long list of collaborations with fellow beatmakers, including Lil Ugly Mane, Suicideyear, Cities Aviv, and Pictureplane to name a few. What also strikes us is what we’ve read about his taste; the versatile San Jose rapper talk music from growing up with trashcore to giving guide to Cocteau Twins.
