Tim Presley + Ryan Sambol

Remember the time at OT301 last year when Tim Presley and Cate Le Bon came over to share with us their joint passion for guitar-picking and word play, providing us with the pleasure to revel in Drinks? We found out about the duo’s most recent team effort – Tim Presley’s new solo album, The WiNK, which comes out on Friday, 16 September (Drag City). Why team effort? Because of the duo’s ability to speak the same language: The WiNK is produced by none other than Cate Le Bon. Now, let’s roll out the red carpet for Tim Presley. After putting The Strange Boys on hold a few years back, other releases involving Ryan Sambol popped up – Peace Mob as Living Grateful and Ryan Sambol’s Now Ritual punched the clock on Punctum last year. Flying solo, Sambol will take the stage at De School in support of fellow The Strange Boys bud.
