Puma Blue is the project of London-based producer and singer Jacob Allen supported by emerging Tony Njoku who will support this evening.
In Puma Blue’s songs, he effortlessly switches between trip-hop and poetic bedroom folk with jazzy soundscapes. With that downtempo sound, he positions himself sonically perfectly between King Krule and Jeff Buckley. His brand-new album “extchamber” (2025) is a dark, melancholic ambient project, featuring songs about loss, grief, and wandering souls. On May 21, the singer returns to Melkweg for a show in our OZ.
Tony Njoku’s style is described as “haunting-yet-introspective”, he uses music as a spiritual tool for self-improvement. His latest release, All Out Knives Are Always Sharp, serves as a landmark moment for Njoku, a culmination of both the singular musical style and nuanced, socially-engaged storytelling he’s been crafting throughout his career.
