PROM | Bandgurl666 x SCHOREM x Prom Vagabonds x Vrije Ruimte Festival

On May 8, Cinetol will organize its very first Prom. This is a collaboration between Bandgurl666, Prom Vagabonds and Schorem, Cinetol’s (post)punk mini-festival. Visitors are encouraged to dress in classic prom outfits.

The line-up consists of dark, dissonant yet danceable acts that make you both mosh and slow dance. There will be a prom photo booth, punch will be served at the bar and the room will be richly decorated.

Whether you take a date, go solo or arrive in a limo with your girlfriends, the Prom welcomes everyone who wants to feel 17 again.

Prom Vagabonds

Prom Vagabonds are the authors of a theatrical, sonorous world. Their cathartic music ensures that emotions can freely arise and disappear. Intense doom sounds, a careful balance between anger and humor, and hypnotic, emotional ballads: the chaos is never random. Each song is a story and a part of their ever-expanding universe.

Nils Keppel

Nils Keppel has quickly become an important part of one of the most exciting trends in recent German post-punk history. What began as a frenzied one-man show in the literal underground, for a handful of spectators in basements, soon grew into a four-piece musical tour de force.

L’orne

L’orne evokes feelings of melancholy through their mix of doomy post-rock, ethereal slowcore, psychedelic noise rock and everything that flirts with the unpredictable and the loose. L’orne manages to convince their audience with enough drama and dynamics, and brings them to silence with their surprising emotional compositions and catchy live visuals.

Daddy Unchained

Coming from the dirty underground, these three young Sjengen make music to enjoy while you feast on your apple pie. Inspired by 90’s and 2000’s crossover Nu-Metal and local Boombap Hiphop artists, Daddy Unchained brings their repertoire to the stages with their signature, burst energy.

Dear Omen

Dear Omen is a heavily loaded post-punk band that crawls under your skin. Sturdy bass lines and rock-hard drum rhythms, mixed with snapping synthesizers and an incredible live show, ensure that you don’t just forget Dear Omen.

Pim Piet

Pim Piet is a synthesizer pop and post-punk act that comes into its own in the later hours of programming. Uptempo drum machines, melodic synthesizers and cutting vocals form the perfect basis for a lively and theatrical performance full of energy and passion.
