André Kertész: Mirroring Life

15 Sep - 10 Jan - Foam Fotografiemuseum, Amsterdam
10.00 - 18.00 - €11 | €8 (Students) - Free for members

There’s a new wave of creativity to inspire our days and trigger our eyes. Foam brings in a retrospective of the Hungarian avant-garde photographer André Kertész.

Throughout his career, Kertész contributed to the way we produce, experience and look at photography. ‘I just walk around, observing the subject from various angles until the picture elements arrange themselves into a composition that pleases my eye’. The exhibition highlights the photographer’s approach to reality and its creative contribution to the language of photography. Change your point of view and experience the everyday life through the lenses of one of the most influential artists of the 20th century. While you’re there, don’t forget to walk through the Foam Talent exhibition and see what else is on display.
