HO99O9 + Ray Fuego

Mixing rock and hip hop has yielded some pretty dismal music in the past – the pinnacle of which would be nu metal – but forget about all that for a minute. New Jersey’s Ho99o9 (pronounced ‘horror’) can be safely added to the list of bands that successfully blend guitars and rap, just like Ice-T’s Body Count. Ho99o9’s members TheOGM and Eaddy dress like they’re either going to a rave in an abattoir, or the new BDSM club that just opened on Sesame Street, which is conveniently enough also the sort of establishment in which their music would most likely be heard.
