While taking part in Brooklyn psych-act Guardian Angel, Alexandra Drewchin overlapped her duties by immersing in her solo project Eartheater, a more humble articulation of psychedelia that includes ritualistic notes and strokes of folk. Signed on to the Chicago-based label Hausu Mountain, Eartheater released debut full-length Metalepsis earlier this year. Drewchin has since been working on the forthcoming R.I.P Chrysalis: if the recently released track ‘Wetfare’ is anything to judge the impending album by, the sound of Eartheater has changed course to a darkened, mystic path.
