GB is the alias of Danish artist Gustav Berntsen, originally from Copenhagen and now based in London.
His music moves between experimental guitar music, ambient, and independent sound, with a strong focus on texture, repetition, and atmosphere. On his debut album Gusse Music (2024), released via Posh Isolation, he composes assemblages in which melancholy and pop sensibility come together. Think of a cross between an ambient soundscapes and introspective guitar songs, with influences reminiscent of the more experimental edges of indie and lo-fi.
As a fixture within the alternative scene (including Gusse B, Dirt Bike, and Pardans) and a growing name in the London underground, GB continually explores new forms. His single Fiction Memory and the double EP Ressed / Falter demonstrate this evolution: from repetitive, hypnotic structures to more dynamic and layered compositions. Live and in the studio, he balances spontaneous improvisation and carefully constructed soundscapes — ideal for fans of experimental indie, ambient pop, and atmospheric guitar music.
The first track of his most expansive work to come (August 21, 2026), was just released.
