comforter2

Comforter2 is the new baby of Meetsysteem, Tammo Hesselink & Marianne Noordzij. Born from a residency space in Arnhem as they were being snowed in over the pandemic, comforter2 is a band for club heads and a club act for band heads. Sometimes two worlds meet – and through this conversation love is found.

Tadleeh

Musician and Curator Hazina Francia, professionally known as Tadleeh has a talent for creating very personal and emotive musical work. She loves to use a variety of techniques to intricately produce music which goes hand in hand with her personal identity and aesthetic. Tadleeh who was born in India talks to us about her creative journey from being adopted as a child by an Italian family to working as a Music Producer and Curator of culture and art events in Milan. She has also created a personal mixtape for Coeval that includes some of her favourite tracks from other artists and a selection of her own.

Courtney May Robertson

As a trained dancer Courtney May Robertson’s work starts with the body, but spans various disciplines including video, generative art and writing. Recurring topics in her work revolve around a widely spread phenomenon she has defined as ‘the relentless desire to dominate’. In this solo performance Robertson employs a metaphor for self-control; that of a rider taming a wild horse. Encapsulated within an octagon of visuals, she combines poetry, dance, and song to explore “the struggle between embracing one’s desires, and regulating behaviour in accordance with societal pressures.”

Courtney May Robinson will start night off with her performance at 20:30. If you want to catch that performance please come on time as only 100 people will be allowed into the performance space. Once that threshold is passed those arriving will be asked to wait at the bar until the performance is done.
