Since the dissolution of Women, the members of the much loved Calgary band have gone on to form various projects. Two of them picked up their instruments again, making post-punk as Viet Cong.
Earlier on we had a chat with the lovely Matt about religion, stating that he believes there maybe is ‘some kind of weird energy or that there’s something different happening in a different universe’. Well, we’re not exaggerating in any way when we’re saying we’re truly devoted to their sharp-angled rhythms and garage pop melodies. Absolutely Free will hook you up with just the right dose of krautrock-ish artpunk.
