A New Edition of The Wrapping Paper Project

Another year, another Wrapping Paper Project.

Since The Wrapping Paper Project was such a hit last year, we’re going for round two! So we invited eight local artists and designers to create a new set of unconventional wrapping paper designs. The artists this year are Kazuma Eekman & Afra Engel, Niels Goos, Miquel Hervás Gómez, Polarlicht, Rebecca te Boekhorst and Peter van Dijk. You can check out their designs on the official Tumblr.

The art publication will be officially launched during our Le Mini Who? event at Kapitaal, Utrecht on Saturday, 21 November. Three of the artists will be present to delight you: Miquel Hervás Gómez has prepared a special riso series, Peter van Dijk will be making silkscreens and Polarlicht will showcase a series of digital visuals/ patterns. Not to mention that Kite Base, The Lumes, Venus Tropicaux and Bonne Aparte are playing and the event is free for all. Join the party and pick up your own copy!

The Wrapping Paper Project will also be available at a number of Amsterdam shops and fairs: Ace & Tate, Brainy Days, De Amsterdamsche Kerstmarkt, Friday Next, Hartje Oost, Hear Hear, Six & Sons, and Stedelijk Museum Shop. They made this project possible and we’d like to thank them for their support.
