James Ferraro – WAR

Drawing on a recent experience with “immersive virtual reality systems designed for war veterans suffering from PTSD”, James Ferraro (aka Bodyguard, aka BEBETUNE$, aka Suki Girlz, aka a few dozen other aliases) just dropped a three song EP – WAR – ahead of the release of new full-length Skid Row. Never shy of a release-length concept, the tunes are appropriately claustrophobic, conjuring the quadrocopter drone formations, crumbling, sandblasted streets and strained, fraying mindset inspiring its creation. It’s not easy listening by any means but hey, hasn’t he covered that ground already?
