San Francisco power pop genius Mikal Cronin is back with his third record. Its title is MCIII and it’s going to be out on 5 May via Merge Records. ‘Gold’ shows strong evidence of what a wonderful songwriter Cronin is thanks to its colorful arrangements. We cannot do anything else than biting our nails while waiting for this record to be out.
