We love our friends over at Rotterdam’s BAR and, it turns out, they love us back. That’s why we’re going to be sifting through their bursting programme and selecting a night a month where Subbacultcha members can dance the night away for free. Great, right?

Yep! Especially when we tell you that the first night will DIY with Svengalisghost, Aurora Halal and BAKK DJ’s on Saturday, 25 June. DIY is a new night, committed to the 80’s ideology that anyone can do anything themselves. This ideology was – and still is – also the foundation for music styles like Techno, House, New Beat, EBM etc. Their approach hopes to keep the music a little bit more personal and capture something a little more intimate and exciting. That’s won’t be hard with the talented likes of Chicago based Marquis Cooper, also known as Svengalisghost and the immersive New York visual artist, Aurora Halal. Can’t wait – see you in Rotterdam!

DIY with Svengalisghost, Aurora Halal & BAKK DJ’s will be at BAR, Rotterdam Saturday, 25 June, 23.00 to 05.00. Entrance is free for Subbacultcha members until 01.00.
