The Art Department welcomes resident #6

Kloosterman’s work is about perception and technology. For this residency he collaborates with the lovely Hannah Carpenter. Together they investigate different kinds of perception through an installation where the spectator becomes the subject and vice versa. Using both floors of the project space, this will be the biggest installation The Art Department has ever seen so far.

Goof Kloosterman (1989) graduated in 2014 from the Bachelor of Fine Art at the HKU University of the Arts Utrecht. That same year he was nominated for the TENT Academy Award, the Ron Mandos Youngblood Award and Wim Bors Young Master Award from the Media Art Friesland festival.
