Promotion and Communications Internship

Subbacultcha is looking for a Promotion and Communications intern. Think you have a good handle on what Subbacultcha is and what’s happening in Amsterdam? Want to be involved in spreading the word about our events and platform? We’re looking for someone who loves a hands-on approach, goes the extra mile and has a knack for multi-tasking to join our team.

As a Promotion and Communications intern you will be responsible for a range of activities relating to our internal and external communications: engaging our members and finding new ways to promote our membership, linking up with suitable local media to spread the word on our artists and events, writing press releases and projects proposals, as well as taking charge of our social media strategy. You will also be involved in day-to-day tasks regarding the members system, internal administration and various other office tasks.

The internship is a part-time position for a period of at least 3 months. Interns are required to spend 3 full days per week at the office. We are flexible though, so there will be ample room to adjust to your scheduling needs. Interns should also have access to a laptop and, preferably, a smartphone.

Requirements:

– Availability from October to December 2015
– Marketing- and/or communications-related BA or MA.
– Preferred fluency in Dutch and English, and proficient writing skills in both languages.
– Your own laptop and smartphone.
