Circuit des Yeux – Do the Dishes

As the title might suggest, the new video “Do the Dishes” from Haley Fohr aka Circuit des Yeux caters a visually feminist tenor. The few low toned lyrics that run through the song are accompanied by melancholic synths and viola. Prepare yourself for some gloomy tunes alongside a vision that gives a whole new meaning to the term ‘desperate housewife’. Featuring the Chicago artist herself, the video is loaded with emotional struggle. It’s not all bleak though; on a much happier note we’re glad to announce that Circuit des Yeux will be releasing her fifth album In Plain Speech, out 19 May on Thrill Jockey Records.
