On May 19, the Australian movie 52 Tuesdays will be screened at LantarenVenster, Rotterdam. The movie depicts the story of a son and his mother facing her gender transition while struggling with his teenage years and disorientation. On May 20, the cult classic Synecdoche, New York will be screened at Studio/K, Amsterdam. Directed by modern mastermind Charlie Kaufman, the film tells the story of a theater director struggling with his work and women while creating a life-size replica of the city of New York.
