The delicate pitch-shifted piano melody of Arca’s “Sad Bitch” serves as the agitator in the latest Jesse Kanda visual collaboration. Unveiled as part of the ‘Digital Deluxe Edition’ – released along with 2 bonus tracks today – the video picks up where “Thievery” left off, an intimate moment with sensuous, gyrating creature Xen. Decidedly more despondent with her sluggish sway, Xen has lost a few curves and appears to be exorcising her sorrow with each stroke of the key, the song’s melody etched into her humanoid form.
