Richard Dawson – Nothing Important

‘Nothing Important’ runs for 16 minutes and it still feels it could just go and go and go for another hour. It’s just so packed with ideas, progressions, rhythmic changes and personality we have the feeling this song is like a river. Its raw approach to emotion and singing somehow recalls the memory of other visionaries such as Neutral Milk Hotel’s Jeff Mangum. We are excited to see what he can do live with these songs, and so you should be as well. He will play on 16 April on Muziekgebouw ann ‘t IJ and on 18 April on Het Klooster, Rotterdam.
