‘Blues Festival’ starts with massive waves of noise that little by little swallow the listener to then give place to little moments of ecstatic peace. The single will be published in a split with R. Ring, the new project fronted by Kelley Deal (yeah, THAT Kelley Deal). She also joins Protomartyr in this amazing song that will keep us busy for a while. There is something painfully honest to everything the Detroit band releases, and this is no exception.
