Liturgy – Quetzalcoatl

Having delivered one of the most strikingly original albums of the last years, Brooklyn metal avant-gardists Liturgy keep developing their aesthetics in their own terms. ‘Quetzalcoatl’ has been directed by the Japanese art entity Aujik which expresses, through a tableau-like setting, either the entrance to heaven or hell. And even though it may seem a simple idea, the video works exactly like the album, exploring ideas to its limits. Liturgy will play on 15 June at OCCII, Amsterdam.
