Fleur Van Dodewaard

There’s a new exhibition coming up at the Subbacultcha! project space. In February we host an exhibition featuring the work of the Amsterdam-based photographer, Fleur van Dodewaard (1983).

Sculptures Économiques shows the highly conceptual semi-abstract work of Fleur, images originate from one ‘mother image’ that has been adapted 25 times according to a strict scheme of color and shape. Van Dodewaard is less interested in the photographic representation of reality, her images seem like studies for the abstract deduction of reality, but at the same time show autonomy and great individual strength.
