The Garden’s Hat is Pretty Big

In February 2015, we commissioned photographer Robin Stein to shoot Californian garage punk twins The Garden in Seattle, USA.

The result? A set of well-balanced compositions, showing attention to geometrical details and subdued tonalities with only a pop of colour. The Shears twins are not so much the focus of the images but merely another compositional element. Which is why it was only fitting that the poster feature a still life of Wyatt Shears’ cowboy hat sitting on top of a manicured tree.
