But as a musical discoverer, you probably know Waxahatchee as the solo project of Katie Crutchfield, which she started after the P.S. Eliot break-up. Like a true singer-songwriter, Crutchfield goes for the intimate and darker songs about loneliness and relationships gone bad, you know, the ones that settle in your head and make you think for days.
