Tussen-ruimte is a cool project that uncovers the charm and the strange possibility held by residual spaces, the margin errors that materialize inevitably at the intersection of various construction projects. These are the after-thoughts of urban development: claustrophobic alleys, tucked-away courtyards, small cracks in Amsterdam’s canal district and unclaimed blocks of pavement. It’s a rare occasion to visit these difficult interstices in the fabric of Amsterdam so go have an urban adventure – or at least an exclusive tour of exception(al) spaces, that will give you plenty of excruciating details with which to bore the next architecture lover to come your way.

The guided tour on 21 September starts at 15.00 from the meeting point Castrum Peregrini and is free for members. For more info, head over to Tussen-ruimte.com.
