After Scottie Yoder received a 4-track for his birthday, he began turning out poppy and energetic numbers in a shed on Vashon Island. He founded a band with Brendhan Bowers and Stefan Rubicz while they were high-school friends, creating precisely the kind of music you always wanted to create with your best mate in your garage, but never did. The Pharmacy could be called indie rock or a messy mix of Nirvana-influenced garage punk as well.
