On Wednesday 2, the lectures include: Toronto new media artist Jeremy Bailey on corporate digital giants and their effects on the body, artist-curator Zach Blas on face detection software and dehumanization, and fellow artist-curator Bogomir Doringer (video below) on the Faceless exhibition in a context of facelessness in fashion.
On Thursday 3: Stefan Hechenberger on hacking as expression, tech writer Maurits Martijn on how our information can be used by big companies, and UvA lecturer Dan Hassler-Forest on superheroes and masked identities.
The lectures are free for Subbacultcha! members, food will also be available (at extra cost) from 19.00
