Sick Joy is the alter ego of singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Mykl Barton. What began in Newcastle’s underground scene and was honed on Brighton’s south coast has evolved into a sonic monster where grunge, alt-rock, and industrial influences collide. With sharp hooks, intense riffs, and candid lyrics about pain, love, and survival, Sick Joy sounds like a head-on collision between beauty and chaos.

Following the release of their acclaimed debut and shows with the likes of Deaf Havana, Pixies, and even Pearl Jam, Barton delves deeper with their second album, More Forever.
