What’s the sound of computer programming and a ‘robot orchestra’? The doozy Munich-based duo Joasihno have converted android sounds into pop-electronica using doozy synths, marimbas, keyboards, and an ensemble of homemade robot musicians. Yes, that’s right. Joasihno’s latest album Meshes is as experimental and abstract as they come, combining traditional sounds with minimalist beats. Our favorite Four Tet, Nils Frahm, and Philipp Glass are all echoed in this album, which marks the duo’s new beginning.
