Jo Quail

Jo Quail previously played at Patronaat alongside God Is An Astronaut and as support for This Will Destroy You and The Ocean, and on Thursday, March 5th, she returns for her own headline show.

London-based composer and cellist Jo Quail uses her electric cello and loop station to build a wall of sound: cinematic, intense, and utterly captivating. Think post-rock meets modern classical, with the power of metal thrown in. Quail wrote the Roadburn commission “The Cartographer,” among others, and has worked with artists like Caspian, MONO, Amenra, Heilung, and Wardruna.
