Jason Kolàr + Maurane Gabriël

You might be familiar with murmur for DJ sets during cozy drinks or dinner. Now, they’re employing their space and Kantarion’s distinguished sound system for some weekday concerts. On Tuesday March 5th, murmur will host an evening with composer Jason Kolàr & DJ Maurane Gabriël.

Jason Kolàr’s is one of the many monikers of Cristian Subirà. Subirà is known for regular outings around on Kiosk Radio, NTS and Operator Radio, and releases on labels such as STROOM, Dauw, Aguirre Records, Conjunto Vacio or Foehn. How the music sounds? “Meditative, ghostly, organic, somehow warm & icy, rich with subtle melody and drenched in tones and texture, its perfect immersive music for being trapped inside an ice cave; or in our case, a warm wood room with bright streaks of morning light, the smell of incense, plants, tubes and Klipschorns.” Maurane Gabriël will take care of music before and after the concert.
