Carried by the velvet voice of charismatic Piero Ilov, Jack of Heart can be considered one of the groups of reference of the ghetto rock’n’roll genre. This French psych-punk outfit asserts the psychedelism of Pink Floyd and Syd Barrett, the heritage of Velvet and the punk side of the Stooges, whilst imposing its proper codes of garage rock.
