Raw low-ends & electroacoustic experiments in dialogue with contemporary ambient electronics, brought to you by glinted records, a new small Amsterdam-based record label that showcases experimental music from discreet artists.

The first release of glinted is a split 12″ vinyl and digital album that puts into dialogue the rawness of illbent low-ends & electroacoustic experiments, with the precision of contemporary ambient electronics. glinted 01 is launching at Garage Noord (Bar40) with an evening of live sets from gab_i & GATELESS, and DJ sets from listening artist Loma Doom and elusive producer Mammo. 20:00-01:00. The 12″ vinyl will be available at Garage Noord during the event.

gab_i
gab_i is a musician, sound designer & music technology enthusiast. He is currently based in Copenhagen, via Montreal & Paris. He explores the fusion of new music aesthetics and electronic synthesis, creating a hybrid of sounds that blends ambient experimental productions within an acousmatic scheme. His academic background and self-driven interest in electroacoustic and avant-garde compositions have shaped his approach to creation, interpretation, and understanding of all forms of sonic experiences, which he accords to an engineering mindset. The tracks made for glinted 01 weave together standing yet slowly evolving desktop projects.

GATELESS
GATELESS is a music producer from Kansas, USA, currently based in Amsterdam. Through layered textures and grittiness in sound, GATELESS channels the experimentalism of
computer music, ambient, trip hop, and dub techno scenes of the late 90s & early 00s, echoing these subcultures with contemporary tools and sensibilities.
The tracks made for glinted 01 were made in 2024 in his Amsterdam West home studio.

Loma Doom
Loma Doom is the moniker of Amsterdam-based DJ, educator, broadcaster, and listening expert Femke Dekker. She creates captivating listening sets and shapes different atmospheres through sound, making her a unique radio maker.
