There’s a famous snackbar in the Flemish city of Ghent, where you can order ‘fries Julien’. It’s an interesting hodgepodge of a dish, where you get a plastic tray filled with fries and topped with mayonnaise, tasty meat sauce, fried onions, satékruiden and a chopped up viandel. This is honestly the most appropriate metaphor we could come up with for this here evening, where three of Belgium’s best tasting bands of the moment will perform. Miaux sounds like pixie dust spiked with a lil’ MDMA, Floris Bates has a really high voice and Robbing Millions is totally the most catchy music we’ve heard in a while.
