Attend event:
Echokamer invites musicians, composers and other sound makers to experiment with the affect of space on sound. For this 17th edition, the Echokamer features Drone 2.0, a new installation by Rob Sweere that is the starting point for a performance by Mars F. Wellink. Built for Lightness, this installation is made of wood and speakers. Wellink will use the Drone and voice of Rob Sweere to let the Mediamatic Fabriek shake. Following on with Micro Miking, Oguz Büyükberber and Tobias Klein have an almost scientific approach of sound. They zoom in on the very grains of sonic textures to explore microscopical structures by using extended techniques and very close miking.
