Half a year after his debut, or close to, supporting Jacco Gardner at their album release party, and with a few more notches on their belt, Hugo van der Poel’s neopsych project Earth Mk. II is prepped for it’s own release.

We’d like to stake our claim and say we were there when it all started. For one of his first ever shows, Hugo van der Poel’s neopsych project Earth Mk. II – live they are a quartet – blew us away when they supported Jacco Gardner at their OT301 Album Release Party back in January. Now, half a year later and with a few more notches on his belt, we’re celebrating Earth Mk. II’s first ever full-length release, out via Excelsior Recordings on 23 August, with a return to the hallowed grounds. Supporting roles are reserved for fellow locals Postmodem and nostalgic crate digger Jacco on the decks.
