DJ Marcelle, whose real name is Marcelle van Hoof, is a Dutch DJ and producer renowned for her adventurous and diverse musical style. Since the punk era began in 1977 she has been driven by a strong passion for discovering new and exciting underground music.

Her sets often blend industrial techno with African vocals and incorporate Syrian beats into dubstep. Marcelle aims to create a sense of freedom and artistic expression, moving between genres to offer a distinctive musical experience. Alongside her DJ performances, she is a prolific producer, having released her fifth album, “A Different Fridge For Cheese” in just six years, showcasing her commitment to musical creativity.

Marcelle has graced stages worldwide and holds residency in several cities, including Vienna, Berlin, Hamburg and Linz. She also runs weekly and monthly radio shows for various stations, consistently delighting her listeners with her unique music choices. Her innovative approach and commitment to exploring new sounds have secured her a notable position in the global music scene and she has been recognized as a ‘lifetime resident DJ’ at the Uganda Nyege Nyege Music Festival.

Prince Pasensi (Bar 40)

Hailing from Amsterdam South-East, Prince Pasensi draws inspiration from the traditional drums and rhythms of Suriname, sharing these unique sounds in dancehalls worldwide. He is also the founder of the music label 1NERIDDIM, which highlights diverse rhythms from around the globe. The label’s releases have been featured in sets such as Boiler Room and RRFM. Through his music, he strives to amplify Surinamese influence globally—Sranan to the world!
