DIY w/ Svengalisghost, Aurora Halal & Bakk DJ’s

We’ve teamed up with the wonderful cast of characters over at Rotterdam’s BAR to present you with a club night each month, free for Subbacultcha members up until 01.00. We’re kicking off the collaboration with an ode to the do-it-yourself ethic, and we’re kicking off big. Chicago-based DJ/Producer Marquis Cooper, aka Svengalisghost is known for leaning on his personal skills that stem from years of practice and self-examination. Another indisputable DIY rising star is Aurora Halal, the all encompassing club culture virtuoso, inventing everything from music to visual art. Finally, Steve Motto, The Social Lover and Ransdstad are The Hague’s trio behind the label BAKK, and here’s a fun fact that ties everything nicely together: Aurora Halal’s first EP release was a split EP together with Haron, released by none other than BAKK 🙂
