Stone Island, the newest and unexpectedly dropped album from remarkable composer Dean Blunt, has been on repeat in our office for the last couple of months. Same goes for predecessor The Redeemer. The man professionally split up with Inga Copeland and called it quits in Hype Williams, skipped the fuzz in the layers of his past sound and added an orchestra instead to underline the post-break-up blues in his songs. Blunt is heading to Europe this autumn and will be playing solo this time. Support by John T Gast.
