We would like to invite you to Come Subba With Us, Barbro & Alina.

We will serve you a soup, made with help of Theo, of Theo’s Tuin – a small-scale garden that cultivates with respect to people and environment. We will cook you a soup with greens and vegetables that Theo didn’t sell at the market that week – fighting against waste. The soup is on us and Theo. The soup will be served with sourdough baguette from the RISE Bakery – a bakery and coffee shop located at the Albert Cuypstraat 208.

You can get a cocktail that’ll fit right in with the soup of that week, made with syrup of Roze Bunker – a team of ‘fruit butchers’ who create different soda’s in syrup form on their mission to fight waste and an unsustainable / inefficient distribution system of water in the soft-drink industry.

Tickets are free for Subbacultcha members and €15,- for non-members. Please make a reservation by sending an email to mailinglist@subbacultcha.nl with ‘Barbro’ in the subject line + your name in the email. Tickets can be purchased here.

To access this event you need a valid Covid QR code, in combination with a valid & matching ID. Getting a Covid QR code requires, either; full vaccination, proof of recovery, a negative test result within 24 hours before entering the event (via testenvoortoegang.org) or a valid EU DCC. 

Barbro

Barbro’s music is a fully analog transmission, revolving around Barbro’s personal thoughts, “but are explored on a gradually more abstract level, only to end up in a strongly tailored appeal to the world.” A swirling and profound composition of piano, double bass, choir, guitar, viola, drums – all orbiting around Barbro’s powerful voice. The sounds move as autumn leaves, freeing themselves from their petiole, weightlessly whirling down and gently finding their place on the dirt.
