Hailing from Los Angeles, Chelsea Wolfe provides lusciously grim folk experimentalism. Also labelled as ‘doom folk’, Wolfe’s spacey lo-fi ambience and contrasting bouts of dissonant noise tend to draw comparisons to early PJ Harvey, but Scout Niblett may be a more suited comparison.
