Birds of Paradise: Tony Njoku x Spaceship Ensemble

London-based composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Tony Njoku combines electronic, ambient, and classical music. This has established him as a distinctive voice in contemporary experimental music, garnering praise from renowned media outlets such as The Guardian, Dazed, and The Quietus.

On his latest album, “All Our Knives Are Always Sharp,” Njoku collaborates with artists including Tricky, GAIKA, Ghostpoet, Coby Sey, James Massiah, and Space Afrika. The new songs explore themes of spirituality and resistance, driven by electronic abstraction, falsetto-driven vocals, and cinematic atmospheres.

For this special evening, Njoku collaborates with the Spaceship Ensemble. In this new context, the songs gain added depth and dramatic tension, with his cinematic compositions amplified by a rich and layered ensemble sound.
