In the island of Bali’s mythology, Rangda is a child-eating demon queen. In the label of Drag City’s discography, Rangda is no less bone-chilling: a guitar-shredding stoner rock trio comprised of Sir Richard Bishop of Sun City Girls, Ben Chasny of Six Organs of Admittance and Comets on Fire, and Chris Corsano, a virtuosic jazz drummer who’s played with Bjork and many others.Also playing tonight is Damon McMahon aka Amen Dunes, who will be no doubt be playing some of his beautiful, benumbing lo-fi pop.
