Automatic Noise Festival 23.01

The Automatic Noise Festival returns to Amsterdam for its sixth edition at Cinetol on January 23rd and 24th, 2026. For two evenings, the festival will celebrate shoegaze and dream pop, marking the culmination of the year-long celebration of 20 years of Automatic Music.

Healees

Parisian-based Healees delivers a captivating blend of shoegaze, new wave, noise, and power pop—as captivating as it is infectious. Their self-titled maxi-EP in 2022 was followed by a full-length album in 2024 on Hidden Bay Records, Safe Suburban Home, and Indie or Die. With their explosive sound and dreamy melancholy, Healees is hailed as “France’s best shoegaze band” and “one of the most intriguing acts on the European scene.”

Bloom Effect

Bloom Effect is a transatlantic dream-pop trio blending English and Spanish lyrics into lush, emotional soundscapes. After a celebrated debut EP, portents (2025), the band gained recognition through radio airplay and performances at major festivals. Their new EP, oscilón—a cinematic exploration of cosmic love—marks the next step in their expanding, ethereal sound.

Maquillage

Maquillage, founded in Belgium in 2022 by Gioia Podestà and Nick Symoens, blends shoegaze, post-punk, and dream pop into a fragile yet sharp sound. Following their EP Kabuki Brush (2024) and performances across Europe, the duo released their debut album ArMOR in 2025 via Silverback Artist Collective and Shore Dive Records.

Part Garden

Part Garden is a shoegaze/dream pop band where melancholic guitars and dreamy vocals transport the listener to a trance. Their music takes you on a journey filled with poignant lyrics, flashing lights, and soft tones. Let yourself be swept away by the power of emotion and get lost in a garden of sound.
